# Credits Guide

> Plans + rollover

How credits move

## How credit access grows with you

The current product path is simple: start free, subscribe when it fits, then rely on rollover and flexible paid actions when usage changes.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Register">
    New users begin with 6 free credits so they can try the product immediately.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Create in Studio">
    Use those credits on flat-lay, reshoot, and mannequin generation workflows.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Subscribe to a plan">
    Choose the paid plan that fits how often you generate during a normal cycle.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Roll over and flex">
    Unused plan credits roll over, and active subscribers can top-up or upgrade when they run short.
  </Step>
</Steps>

Spend smarter

## Three habits that keep the credit journey healthy

The most efficient path is learning with the free credits first, then subscribing only when you understand your repeatable demand.

* Use the first 6 credits to learn which Studio mode produces the best output for your assets.
* Choose a plan for your normal generation volume and let rollover cushion slower periods.
* If a paid plan runs dry mid-cycle, use a top-up for a short burst or upgrade when the higher demand becomes ongoing.

Credit options

## Choose the access path that matches your stage

The real decision is not "which package price," but when to stay free, when to subscribe, and when to flex with top-ups, auto-topup, or an upgrade.

### Free start

6 free credits

The fastest way to test Janjan.ai before choosing a paid plan.

What changes: Use them on flat-lay, reshoot, or mannequin try-ons.

### Paid plan

Most Popular

Credits every cycle

Subscribe according to your generation volume once the free credits are gone.

What changes: Unused plan credits roll over across billing cycles.

### Flexible scale

Top-up or upgrade

Stay productive when usage spikes during an active subscription period, even if balance drops faster than expected.

What changes: Top-up manually, enable auto-topup, or upgrade if your baseline usage grows.

Auto-topup

## Keep paid usage moving even when balance runs low

Auto-topup can be configured inside Credits after a payment method is saved. Users choose the balance threshold and the active credit package that should be purchased automatically.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Choose your trigger threshold">
    Auto top-up can be configured to run once your balance falls below a credit amount you choose.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Select the package to buy">
    The settings let you pick the active credit package that should be purchased automatically.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save a payment method first">
    Auto top-up stays unavailable until a payment method is added and the settings are saved.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### What it means in practice

Auto-topup is for users who already know their paid workflow. Once it is enabled, the system can buy the selected credit package automatically whenever the balance falls below the threshold you set.
